  1. Announcement of the 16th German Congress on Crime Prevention / 5th Annual International Forum

    The 5th Annual International Forum within the 16th German Congress in Crime Prevention will take place 30. and 31. May 2011 in Oldenburg.

    This years event is presented in special cooperation with the Federal Criminal Police Office as well as the Federal Office for Information Security and is titled "International Cybercrime – Occurrence, Development, Prevention". German, European and International Experts discuss (in English language) the worldwide impact of Cybercrime and possible cross-border prevention strategies.

    Parts of the German Congress on Crime Prevention will also be simultaneously interpretated into English.

  5. New Partners

    WHO is new partner of the GCOCP

    The German Congress on Crime Prevention is now official partner of the Violence Prevention Alliance from the World Health Organization. More information on the VPA website.

    The Korean Institute of Criminology (KIC) is new partner of the GCOCP

    An academic agreement has been signed from both organizations on September 6th 2010 in Hanover. Both institutions want to intensify the cooperation in the fields of criminology, crime prevention and victimology in the next years.
